If this is true, then I  you even more Rockstar! Having enjoyed every bit of Bully on the PS2, I couldn't believe they didn't pull off a sequel. So here's some inside scoop on it:

Lots of people loved Jimmy Hopkins, the squinty-eyed protagonist of Rockstar's Bully. The academic open-world title didn't set the kinds of records that a Grand Theft Auto game does but it's remained a favorite in the hearts of many gamers. In an interview with Gamasutra's Chris Morris, Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser teases that a Bully follow-up is one the things that the developer's juggling in its schedule:

Also, contrary to a lot of people, we like to take a little bit of time at the end of a game before starting a sequel, so we can wait for the excitement or disappointment and everything else of the experience to shake down and really see what we should do in the next game. So we knew that we didn't want to start doing the Bully sequel instantly at that second with those guys — even though it is a property that, like Max, we adore and might come back to in the future. There was just no impetus to do that then. So we said, "You can do Max, and then we will see what we can do with Bully." So it was really waiting for the slot to open up and the group to open up to at least start work on it.

Bully was one of the best games with God of War 2 i had played when my gaming was limited only to a ps2. Very very looking forward to the sequel. Definitely will come out after GTA V methinks.

Ok so first max Payne 3 , gta 5 and now bully now what would other game studios do now. ;-)

Bully is one of the best games, I put second to GTA series when it comes to pure fun, dialogues and silly missions :D
enjoyed it thoroughly, even at lower settings (R* porting at it again :P ).
The music was also very good.

Really looking fwd for more Bully2 news & game.

Despite Allwyn's recommendation, I had to skip the game owing to the other backlogs. :(

Would it still be a good idea to play the first one? Native support for the X360 controller and visuals?

Hells yeah! I pushed my brother to play this game a week back. He's done with it and loved it, just as much as I did. The PC version is the one you should be aiming for. The visuals are much sharper and yes, it has native 360 controller support. I still don't get why you haven't played this game and GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City?

These are one of the finest games from Rockstar. :)

Haven't really been a big fan of the GTA series. Sorry if that offends someone. :P

But then again I have only tried Vice City by far. I recall GTA 4 had a bad port to the PC when it had come out initially? Anyhow, we've got plenty of time until GTA V is out. So I think I can catch up with IV and its DLCs. I'll reserve my comments until I play those.

Why would that offend anyone? I wasn't a fan of the franchise either, not until I played GTA IV that is. The PC port, initially, was a disaster. They have patched it pretty well and you can easily play it with your current configuration. I admit that Rockstar aren't the best people when it comes to porting games on PC, but one thing is guaranteed, you will definitely enjoy their titles. Trust me, pick Bully up, play only the main missions and let me know when you're done. The main campaign should be done in roughly 10-12 hours, which going by your pace of completion, shouldn't be an issue. ;)

Try GTA SA first :P in GTA series.
Reg bully, do play it, its really funny game, on two Wheelers, you can punch people (road rash), punch out your opponents in cycle races....

I was apprehensive when I first started up Bully but when I really played it, I fell in love with it. Easily, one of Rockstars best games made in the past few years. Pure fun and timepass. I especially loved the ending. I wouldn't mind another year in Bullsworth Academy :)

Wise choice Padawan! :D

Oh and don't forget to use the 60fps unlock executable file to break the 30fps lock. Just Google it.
