Apple is speeding up it's product cycle. So much so that we might see as many as 3 iPhones in 2013 itself. But then again we saw 3 new iPad models in 2012, so this doesn't really come as a big shocker. Having to refresh to stay relevant against the Android monsters (who have already pulled ahead with their latest and greatest features) is confusing Apple's customers (imagine you just bought a super costly iPhone 5 and then there's iPhone 5S rumors flying all over, you'd break your phone like a biscuit!). Well, it seems that one of the new iPhones dubbed iPhone Math (*we think it's iPhone Max) might pack a 4.8" display, pretty much putting the iPhone into phablet territory (relatively to older iPhones, definitely).
iPhone 5S and the iPhone Math?
"While details regarding the mystery device's specifications remain scarce, sources claim it will feature a large display measuring at least 4.8 inches diagonal, almost one inch larger than the current iPhone 5. Form-factor and screen resolution are unknown, though the so-called "iPhone Math" is said to boast an 8-megapixel camera with lenses built by Largan Precision. The Chinese firm has supposedly been tapped to supply some 8 million camera lenses for both the "iPhone 5S" and the "iPhone Math."
While we are sure that iPhone will introduce their iPhone 5S which will be an improved iPhone 5 in their next developer conference (June?), the rumors surrounding a "cheap and budget" iPhone as well as a "phablet" iPhone does get us excited. Like the iPad, the iPhone might also be heading to multiple product segment launches all selling simultaneously (instead of Apple offering an ancient iPhone 4 as a low end product, Back to 2011!).

While we are not entirely certain that a cheap iPhone might be in the works, a phablet iPhone is a definite possibility. What with the industry going and people loving huge screen devices, it is only natural for a company to adopt and offer what people want.
