Rumour, New TVS Premium Bike ?

Well I hav heard some rumours abt this supposed pulsar killer??/

See One of my bro's friend is a mech engineer workin with Tvs somewhere near BLR.

Yesterday my bro recieved a sms frm his friend which said :

"today I rode a bike at 230 kph.was wearing somethin looked like a space suit.
had the time of my life"

but he told he could not let him in details before the bike is officially announced! :S
anyone of u guys workin at TVS?? pls hlp
 
I knew about this thing: TVS Tauro 250 cc, that was gonna be launched sometime soon. But, never knew that it could reach speeds of 230 kmph... :O
 
LMAO....now the new bike rumours enter the tech sites ,,eh??? LMAO...

by the time TVS launches a 250cc which goes upto 230kmh..( in a straight line ..& not tolled by other machines...) i would be a happy owner of a Hydrogen Fueled bike...:D :D :D going faster than air...:P
 
Must be an overclocked engine :bleh:

On a serious note, I think Indian roads need to be upgraded first before we think about faster bikes. No use getting a 230Kmph bike and then driving around at 23Kmph !
 
I dont think TVS is gonna launch a 250 in the near future. This, i guess should be one of the TVS Racing team's bikes. And yes these TVS racing's bikes go like stink, they are super fast.
And 230kmph for a production bike in India is atleast 10 years away.

I agree with u dude, bause I think there are very less cars in india that go above 200 let alone bikes!

my dear friend....which roads lets u go for constant speed of 200+ kmph (for atleast 25 secs) in India....:P...
by the way i think ...carz Sux
 
^^Its pretty easy to go at 150+ for an hour and a half(for a short duration at lonavla, u'd have to reduce ur speed) on the mumbai pune expressway early in the morn as long as your tyres are upto the task. I've seen many ppl do 200+ on the same road.
 
Even a 600 CC wouldn't probably be able to achieve 230 kmph. Probably it was annother punny bike with a massive speedo error.

There are very few bikes in India that would go till 150. Infact most reach around 120-130. Barring a few like Yamaha RD 350 with some mods etc. More as the speed increases the speedo error also increases.

hmm a 600 cc not able to reach 230 KMph? :rofl: must hv been manufactured by indian railway then ;)
