Ryzen 5600 (non X) projected release date/price in India?

The 5500 and some 4000-series SKUs that were announced earlier this year have shown up in retail sites. In fact, the 5500 was up on Vedant Computers a while ago, even before the retail launch elsewhere. Waiting to see when the 5600 is coming to shelves and possible pricing.

Any info?

i m not sure... but 5600 annouced as 199$, therefore its pricing should be 17k-18k... including TAX.. my friend also looking to purchase it.

Pricing is confusing af
5600x is going around for 19-20k rn and 5500 for 14-15k so 5600 should be between them

Only if paired with a B660 mobo.

Not really, H610 is good enough for i5 chips this gen if you don't intend to run it at 100% load for couple of hours.
I myself intended to replace my 3600 with the 5600x but that worked out to be more expensive.
Offloaded my 3600+B450 for 17.5k today and placed an order for a 12400F+H610 @Rs.20.8k so I'm getting a decent sidegrade for 3.8k.

P.S. Clarifying for OP, H610 is limited to 3200 MHz so for me it was a feasible upgrade since I didn't want to upgrade the rest of my components, just the CPU+Mobo. If you want to buy higher frequency RAM you'll have to go with B660 which is still a better combo than a 5600x+B550 btw.

Hi ! I'm new here and found your post incredibly insightful. The 12400F is great value for money but I I haven't seen any CPU+MB combinations that work out to ₹20.8k.
Which motherboard did you opt for ? Could you also link me to the etailer that you used ?

Lastly, if you could post a short review of your current setup, with it's limitations and how it works for you.

Thanks!

ok this is very confusing.

the new 5500 and 5700x and even the 5800X3D is now available across many places but the 5600 non x is completely missing from everywhere.

was planning to buy it, but it seems nobody has it. what's going on....?

Performance / price is not the reason to buy 5600. With 200mhz lower base clock, its going to be more energy efficient. I am waiting for it to complete my ML setup, which is more gpu intensive than CPU. Also depends on ryzen processor, so keep the intel suggestion out of this thread. Its not relevant. I need an amd to finish my build.

For gaming though, the x varient is better.

As per oasis IT store in Chennai, Its going to take another month at least for it to be available. I am not very confident though.

5600x/5800x already 1/3 price cuts across the world but still no price drop here. 5600 non x not launched we are waiting since so long for this.

why is AMD forcing us to buy the 12400F...?!?
