Want to buy a B450 or better AM4 motherboard (within warranty) to pair with Ryzen 2200g apu.

Also looking for 2 sticks of 8 gb DDR4 RAM (non-rgb, preferably 3000mhz and above)
Budget 2k per stick

Ripjaws rams available, slightly above your expected price though @dazzwilliams

You are not going to get an 8GB of 3000Mhz for 2k even if its non-RGB. I've tried searching for a long time. I didn't even get the 2666Mhz for Intel system. I ended up getting an RGB model for much higher than my budget for non-RGB. I hope you have better luck than me.
Also if you are going to use an APU why not go for the A320? Seems logical if budget is an issue.

Agree. There were a few deals for 3000mhz ram near that price point recently so let's see how it goes.

Regarding AM4 mobo, was contemplating going for used mid range models keeping in mind the future APU upgrade. I won't be using a dedicated GPU (no overclocking also) as it's a secondary PC for media consumption. So cool and reliable working is what I require.
I was hoping to get a used B450 mobo around the price of new A320. Ofcourse budget is flexible
