S II or wait for the Nexus Prime ??

When I finally decided to get S II this week, this news cropped up : Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Nexus Prime could come in October | Crave - CNET

I am fed up of my Galaxy Spica ... What is the possibility that Nexus Prime or Upgraded S II will hit market in October ?

I find S II perfect except screen resolution... Soon 720p screens will be hitting market and i'll be left wid 480*800

I'd rather that you wait for some solid specs to come out before you decide which one to buy. While 720p is definitely a big addition, just the screen is not good enough. The Yamaha audio chip on the S2 is absolutely no match for the Wolfson on the SGS. For me, the audio quality of the phone will be a big deciding factor.

Have you heard the gs2?It sounds fantastic with a decent pair of iem.The Wolfson dac was better,but the yamaha one is not that bad either,it's driving power is slightly lower but it is indeed pretty good with low impedence phones.

Overall it is certainly not a dealbreaker.

P.S If you want to portray yourself as an audiophile never even talk about using mobile phones as source.
