Could someone tell me some gud softwares for benchmarking and monitoring CPU/Mobo and GPU?

I understand PC Mark/ Super PI for CPU and 3d Mark for GPU are widely used for benchmarking but do these also allow temperature monitoring? I need something to tell me what the CPU/GPU temps are like at idle and load.

I have got some utility with the motherboard (MSI 965P Neo). Dont know how effective it is but would still like some alternates.

Thanks

Does Everest Multiple Edition Montors everything...!!

CPU - 6300
Mobo - MSI NEO-F
GPU - Leadtek 7900GS
HDD - Hitachi 250GB SATAII

Which software might help me..to monitor temps and also other things..!!!

Core Temp for CPU, Everest or driver control panel for GPU. What video card?

A X1800 GTO. Proly the one you are using for that X1900 would do just fine

@All Thanks

While we are at it.. What are safe temp thresholds for the CPU and GPU.. i.e temps over which someone who wants to use his rig for a few years wouldnt wanna go :hap5:

CPU -> C2D E6300
GPU -> Sapphire X1800 GTO

For GPU temps I use NVTempLogger - get it here -
The Guru of 3D Download Section

That thing is exactly what I wanted with its plotting temps over the duration a game is played.. Unfortunately thats for NVidia graphics cards :( Nebody know of similar stuff for ATI

The catalyst control centre lets you know the temp of the GPU at the moment but you are not gonna be checking temps every once in a while during gaming.. Also dont know if it has any provision to set alarm levels

EDIT : Sorry for double-posting. Newbie mistake :ashamed:

The latest version of ATITool will plot a graph iirc. That video card should be okay upto 80 degrees I guess.

HDD - HDTACH
GPU - NVTempLogger
Mobo - Motherboard Monitor
CPU - CPuz...

??? Any corrections..?

^^HDTach is a Benchmarking tool for HDD. Use everest for monitoring CPU, motherboard, hdd, etc.. and NVTempLogger for gfx card

or you can use the Catalyst Control Center to monitor the temps of the GPU...you will be ok if the temps do not rise more than 85C during full load.

That's just it, to check temps at full load I would have to ALT-TAB out of the game which I would have to do several times to get an accurate picture.. which I dont wanna do.

use ATI Tool or Ati Traytool to monitor everything on ati cards.. and it also shows a small taskbar icon with ur current temp which updates every 10sec. (u can set it to update every 1sec too)

i use it all the time... its small and handy :)
