From what I can recall, none of the stories are linked. Each game has a different storyline and NO, the story is pretty much non-existent. This is more about having fun with the gameplay.

So i can directly start with the this III or if i get hand on II...? Right? Did II's gamplay really sucked?

Yep. You can directly start playing the third game.

As for the gameplay of the second game, it was just the shoddy performance of the PC version that put everyone off, else it was good.

Ohh and one more question...will it work on hd4250, I'll connect a 17" 1024x768 monitor. Will it work on that?

^The upcoming title you mean? With the lowest settings it might work.

Oh yeah thanks for reminding me about that the last one was a dsaster on the PC ? but the price of the game on other sites is 999rs but on flipkart 615rs i want to get it before they increase the price
 
This time thq has confirmed that its not a console port so it would be well optimised.

Suffices to say, this will be the last one I'd try before beginning the titles arriving next year.
 
I'll be testing the co-op campaign with a friend tonight. Gannu, confirm if you're IN, if it works out?
 
^Yeah not a problem. But soon? I mean let me be done with Assassin's Creed: Revelations please. And I'll be headed to Bombay this weekend. The net connection is also down for the past 2 days. :(
