Sale price: Rs.1200 + 100 shipping

Condition: Installed for less than 2 months, so almost new

Click here for more detailed specs/info on the card.

I bought this card in the US so I could make my desktop wireless, but I don't need it anymore since I'm thrashing the idea of a wireless workstation and getting rid of my wireless keyboard/mouse as well. You'll get everything that came in the retail box - PCI card, antenna, driver CD and instruction manual.

PM me if you still have questions.

No idea if they're available in India - I bought this from the US for $25 (that should explain my selling price) + shipping. You will probably not find a wireless card even close to this price in India - if you do, consider yourself lucky :)

rio i'll let you know gimme some time yaar :bleh: soo with this i can share it wirelessly with my dads laptop right? :P

That's right - if you already have a wireless router at home, installing this PCI adapter will make your desktop work just like a wireless laptop.

ok see thers no wireless routers .. but i have a laptop so is it possible to share the internet or transfer data between em without the router?
if not how much a router costs wireless ones?

If you don't have a wireless router:

1. You could use bluetooth (dongle costs about 400 bucks maybe cheaper even) to connect to the laptop (and then transfer data, surf the web)

2. Get a wireless router :-P Netgear WGR614 costs about 2.5k and Linksys will cost 3.5k approx.

Sorry for barging in this thread but

@x86

If you dont want to invest in a wireless router/access point then with that wi-fi card you can setup a Ad-hoc network.You will be able to share files & all just like in a normal network.

But IMHO investing in a wireless access point/router has become dead cheap.Btw if i'm not wrong then the Linksys 802.11b PCI cards are available for 1k odd (can someone confirm this) ?

It probably is true that 802.11b cards are available for 1k, but that's an older technology... all wireless routers and wireless PCI adapters are using 802.11g.
