^^Agreed .. There are more market threads than normal Tech thread.. For which this forum is made.. But nowadays its a Marketplace more, likely to the old 1 providing Ecumenical Technology :P
 
A new system will cost as per breakup given below:

SA-8000: 11k

Two Genie2 speakers with stands: 14k

Roarr 1810 Sub: 11k

Total: 36k

Discount 8% (easily around 2k).

Net: 34k

Now 30K for a 2 yr old system is way too high
 
mate, the reason pics are asked is to judge the condition of the product you selling....How can we guage that from the official site...You are not selling brand new... r u?
 
As far as external aesthetics go the system is perfect. Anyway I think listening to the system is a better parameter for judging condition.

^ Guys, he created this thread *before* the rules were implemented. For his next sale thread, he will indeed need the required post count before he can create the thread. As of now, his thread still stands good !

P.s @ apal : It would be helpful to post some pics of your system, so that prospective buyers can verify the authenticity of the deal and for those not in the vicinity of mumbai, they can judge if the system is in good shape.
 
If this helps, I have worked with apal and personally know him. It was I who recommended that he visit TE and put his music system up for sale. So it's all cool, he isn't a 'fake'.

If possible post a couple of pics, of the speakers themselves and 1 of the amp. We just want to see how well maintained the entire setup is.

^^darkstar - I suggest you post only when interested in a deal and not to increase your post count, don't trash a sale thread.
 
I am interested at a price point of 15K (shipped), provided the condition is good.

My logic is that for around 27-30K a NAD amplifier and JPW speakers can be had, that too new, which sound way better! Second hand figure for around 18-20K.

See Sonodyne was as such not a good choice 2 years ago when you bought the system and surely not a good one now, except for if the price is lower than mid range Hi-Fi systems.

Still no pictures???
 
I will put up a picture as soon as I lay hands on a digital cam....
sorry for the delay but I am hesitant to use my phone cam as the resolution is not very good.
