but he will be on and off jail, like Sanju Baba

Bawa, had a lot of years (days adding up) due to remand and court proceedings with him being inside. I doubt Bhai has done time. He will get the full slot. Let us see what quantum the court decides.

MOD EDIT:
Changed the title to a more comprehensive one.

I don't get why people feel the need to support a criminal who ran over and killed people in a drunken state. Why all the prayers and other nonsense. Are his fans so idiotic and inhumane that they can ignore his feeds?

Heck the lawyers even tried to argue that since he is an actor, he should not be given a jail sentence. Why and how does his monkeying around in movies and being adored by senseless idiots justify him getting any special treatment?

^^^That says a lot,
You mow down people after alcoholic binge,

You hunt black bucks for recreation,

Assault your girlfriend,
Give her warnings from underworld dons,

& then you open a NGO, fly kite with the most probable PM candidate.

13 years: it took for judgment, may God bless our judiciary with some adrenaline shots !

Justice Anyway, it's late but not denied. Thank God!

Perfect, you nailed it well in the second sentence of second paragraph.

Why this demigod treatment inside the court room? For the prime accused ?

Wait until someone plays his minority card !! It's a different ball game altogether.

As always Indian judiciary aka at pentium 1 speed!

First it was Kasab where govt. spent crores just for hanging him and now 13yrs for salman.

He turned towards drawing, sketching, ngo and what not but thats not gonna reverse the lost lives and so many painful years for the sufferers of the lost ones.

Compensate by jailing him for full 13yrs.
.....and thats Being Human!

And now Abhijit defended salman by tweeting "kutta sadak pr soyega to kutte ki maut marega"
"if a dog sleeps on roaf he is bound to die a dogs death"

Hell with such pathetic personalities.
One day he should die a dogs death that too under salmans cars and then let the world tweet same words.

Ab un mein se criminal kutton ke saath 5 saal jee ke dekh...

Disgusting people!!

Madhuri ke dono Saajan jail mein....
Both of Madhuri's Saajans (lovers) in jail.... :-p

Its fine what the law did. Only it was a little late. But better late than never.
Bigger concern is how the media will torture us for the next few days. Like
Salman ke pehli raat....
Salman akele mei kyu roya....
Bhai ka naya aashiyana....
Bhai ko kisne sone nahi diya... (hint: Mosquitoes)
Salman's last supper...
and what not shit will be telecasted in next few days.....

On the other hand... Common sense.
Why do so many rich people open NGOs / Charity orgs.
Not everyone doing charity does this but most of them do.... I personally know MNCs in India who use similar tricks to show more expenditure under CSR.
Anyways. Here's how it works.

Mr X earns say 5Cr in white in a year.
He opens a charity / NGO lets say "Being Mr.X"
Now he organizes a medical camp for 100 people at the cost of say 10Lakhs but on paper extrapolate the cost to 50Lakhs. We all know that if we can get infalted / false bills for small amounts from any shop the same can be done at bigger scale.
That leaves Mr.X with 40L of black money which now is not accounted anywhere. That money can be used to buy land or property overseas by hawala or many other uses which even I am not much aware. Its even invested in stock mkt.
If charity was the sole intention of Mr. X he could have donated to one or many existing NGOs and made them more effective. With the amount he donates he could also command how that amount shd be used(like a specific purpose of girls child education or cattle care or rehabilition of homeless, etc) and also command transparency in the processes to get to know how his money was used. But no. Generating black money is the primary intention and also to gain sympathy. coz that cannot be bought right :)

Multiply that medical camp event with lots of other events and you can estimate how much black money Mr. X can generate.
distributing wheel chairs.
Organizing marathon runs.
distributing school supplies and study materials or clothes, etc etc etc.

I am not judging anyone. and this is a very subjective topic. Some might consider this morally wrong others might say that something is better than nothing.(meaning even if few people get benefited by such work its very good as compared to those ppl not getting anything at all). Anyways generating black money is criminal offense no matter how one considers of it morally.

Actually this is how most NGO's and charitable trusts in India are. Quite often, the sole purpose for creation is tax evasion. There was an Engg. Director at an IT company I know who together with few other people in similar working grades registered an NGO so that they can 'donate' fairly large amounts of their income in order to avoid paying taxes and to get other benefits. All the work done by said NGO was only on paper.

Even the NGO's and trusts run by fakes like Baba Ramdev and many other similar fake baba's, actors, politicians are of the same nature. The fake baba trusts particularly are almost always to facilitate politicians for their black money transfers and other transactions.

Some NGO's indulge in other kinds of illegal deeds as well. One NGO in Punjab which was operating an orphanage for girls and even got an award from CM was actually found to have been forcing the girls (most of whom under minors) into prostitution and making money of them.
