errrr ! wake up and smell your friend's coffee is what he meant. Selling a 21 inch CRT for even 500 bucks is a fantastic price for the seller is what he meant, in case you did not know. People generally give away those kind of TVs including 29" to an orphanage or old age homes or just junk it with their old paper walla.
 
True dat! I recently gave away my beloved Sony Music system to my building's watchman, which was working fine. If I had tried to sell it would still be catching dust. So better give it away to someone needy or who can make some good use of it.
