Samsung Executive Confirms Galaxy Gear, Note III Unveiling On September 4

Samsung Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note III will be officially unveiled on 4th September at a pre-IFA event in Berlin, Samsung executive has confirmed while speaking to The Korea Times.

The Galaxy Gear will be the smartwatch from Samsung and will come with a non flexible display.

We will be introducing a new wearable concept device called Galaxy Gear at our own event in Berlin on Sept. 4,” Lee Young-hee, executive vice president of Samsung’s mobile business told Korea Times.



The rumored specs for the Galaxy Gear include -

CPU: Samsung Exynos 4212 dual core 1.5GHz
GPU: ARM Mali-400 MP4
RAM: 1GB
Display: 320×320 (3cm×3cm – 1.67-inches) AMOLED (not sure if it’s flexible)
Camera: 2 Megapixel
Connectivity: Bluetooth, NFC

The Galaxy Note III will also be unveiled at the same event.
