I got this attached to an email from Samsung... thought someone here will find it useful....

saw the ad on channeltimes.....btw i only have samsung lcd.....which had a prob but the link u provided eazy came helpfull(phone registration one)........thks for that.....the logic board of lcd was gone......

I'm confused, the adv. for Mumbai or any particular state or whole India, if it is for whole Inida than in which Cities they put the Camp.

I have 17" Samsung Monitor.

I got this as an attachement to an email from Samsung - they dont know where I am located so I would presume that it should be for all India.

yup hdd not covered...every year they come up with this...its a sort off self promotion..they will check and they say thi is dying..get our new product.........

for hdd once i called them first they accepted it.....than oh i cant come today to re collect and all and finally sorry sir its not covered plz goto lamington as always

How is their RMA service - across the table replacements or do they take time ? I have never and I will never use Samsung HDDs.
 
The response I got from Samsung in relation to the defective monitor that I got from Singapore was unbelievable.

I complained one day, in 2 days time I had a Samsung Technician at my house with a replacement for my damaged panel.

My personal experience with that one matter makes me hold Samsung high up in the customer service department, but dont know if I was just lucky or if theyre really that efficient. Lets hope its the later.

YES ... I had a similar experience with Samsung for my 19" CRT and 17" LCD monitors... for this reason I will only buy Samsung Monitors....but how is their service for HDD replacements ?
 
Regardin lcd/display no doubt they r best..i was having some weid problem display used to go...than i mailed them on samsung site(details provided by eazy)...and within next day i got the details..and problem was solved after 2 days as some on board stuff was not in stock.......but problem was solved...and after that in 2 days i got a call frm delhi sayin samsung wants to know abt feedbak.....i was damn impressed.....

but for hdd its not the same

horrible as always..long queue for waiting..will say to come on wednesday...when u call they will say not in stock wait another weak......also pin damage not covered they say.....but after some 600-750 bribing they replaced me with a new disc......but came to know now for 100-200 u can change the pcb...or pin damage stuff......i have stopped using samsung hdd frm past 2-3 yrs

OH WOW !! THAT bad HUH !! Like I said I have never used and will never use a Samsung HDD.
