Oops.. guess I was a bit late..

Few issues that I faced after 2.3.6 update -

- Did not recognize my 16GB SD Card. Had to format it then got recognized.
- My phone restarted automatically (more than 50% battery left) for the first time in 6 months.
- The removal of rubbery effect is a backward step

Overall looks like a good upgrade, does wonders to the battery life. My SGS2 was lagging a lot with 2.3.3 and almost all memory filled up. I would consider my usage as heavy. The upgrade seems to have circumvented it.

^ I also experienced the restart-for-no-reason, haven't seen it for months.

Still can't comment on battery life because I've been playing Paladog like crazy over the past week and I've never played many games on the S2 before (aside from a little Angry Birds).

I see no difference in battery life after the firmware update
<
.

try sammobile.com they might have the official rom for flashing and they have "how to flash guides" also
<

Getting very good battery life after updating it to KL1, and with Juice Defender getting upto 35 hours battery life on a single charge.
