baggage was not an issue.. i had to pay 1000 THB extra for LED transportation.. and other than that nothing.. i flew by Indigo.. @djmykey.. u r dead :P

@kauzy - Do you have Matiz? :O Wow, I have 2000 model. Well, it still gives like 23kmpl on highways and around 18 in city. Most efficient budget car ever owned by me (my father tbh :bleh:). He don't want to change it for some mysterious reason. :lol: I need a Volvo :P

yup.. the one bought in 2000 too.. from kolhapur itself.. marvellous motors if i m not wrong.. wonderful car :D

hey @kauzy, just wanted to know that did you land and paid the customs strait up? Because I will be travelling there soon, and since we'll have enough baggage allowance, I might as well get a LED for myself, if it'll just cost 3-4k for customs, or did you haggle?

depends on the TV u buy.. those lamers have started keeping prices now.. n their way of calculating is weird too.. since mine is es6220, it hasn't launched here yet.. so they took the price of es6600 which is a higher version costing 1.0l.. where as the lower model es6000 was @80k.. so they did a discount of 30% on 1.0L which came around 30k.. which in turn made my TV worth 70k.. whereas, i had paid only 42k for it in Thailand.. so they calculated a duty of @10k.. for which i resisted.. i asked them that why are they taking the price of es6600 n not 6000.. he said he will look up on net.. he didn;t find a price anywhere.. so i told him.. screw everything.. take the bill, calculate the price.. take the customs duty.. n leave me ffs.. then he agreed after 1 hour of arguing..
moral of story.. buy a Tv which costs <21k THB.. and if u still want to buy a higher version, keep an extra copy of bill with you.. because, the VAT refund people take the original bill n never return it..

doesnt a similar tv cost the same here from ebay. i bought my 40 inch samsung from ebay without smart features for 41k.

there are many TV's available in the range and even lower than that.. depends on what sort of TV we are talking here.. :)
