Upgrading, selling for parts.
Well, my Ma probably plugged her Samsung M21 into my 65W supercharger and since then it has been occasionally going into a boot loop which fixes itself in around 10-15 minutes before the entire process repeats itself at random times. I was looking to upgrade her phone to a new one anyway and I am not inclined to travel to a Samsung repair center in the city so selling the phone here for parts. Maybe if you live in a city and have access to a Samsung service center nearby, you can get its Power IC and port (probably the defect, not sure though) checked out and get yourself a nice backup phone for a bargain!

The phone has a tempered glass thing applied since day 01 (bought on launch) and it has also been used with a cover since then as well. It does show its age though with normal wear and tear on its body. I will ship it with both the glass attached and the cover after cleaning the phone. I have managed to factory reset it between the boot loop incidents so it's all ready for repair or to be de-assembled for parts. It runs pretty well when it's not being discharged by the boot loop events and could serve well as a backup phone post repair. Note that it does not have 5G support given it launched in 2021.

The warranty is nil (duh) & I would rate the physical condition of the phone to be around 3/5.

I will find the box probably to ship it with but no charger or other accessories such as SIM ejector and manuals will be included. Shipping will be at the buyer's risk.

Cheers.

Its nothing to do with your charger, it was a common issue caused to all such identical M, F series phones due to an software update. Samsung refused to even acknowledge this issue. More info
I dont think so. As he mentioned the issue was started after being charged by a higher wattage charger, possibility is that the small fuse inside the mobile battery got damaged. Same happened to my cousin's vivo mobile few months back and the reason was also the same. I got it repaired for ₹400 and saved 1k as the new battery costs around ₹1.4k. The technician replaced the faulty fuse of the battery and it worked again without the random boot loops.

Product received. Works as described. External condition is great. Very mild signs of usage.

I wish my mobiles remain that new.

The freeze and boot problem exists

How they can have a fuse inside the battery. How a service guy can fix it. Battery is totally enclosed. Right?

If we attempt to open, won't that get damaged?

Or the fuse inside the phone ?
