i thought the phone has not launched yet and was surprised to see the samsung s2 @ alpha.

had gone to buy htc desire hd but when i saw the phone..i changed my mind and thought waiting for samsung s2 price to reduce.

anyone knows when is it launching officially??

they have priced it at 33k .

-Samsung Galaxy 2 will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread

-1GHz dual-core processor

-4.3-inch Super Amoled Panel display

-HSPA+ connectivity, works with Wifi a/b/g/n, and has Bluetooth 3.o

-The phone weighs around 116 grams and it will be 8.49 mm thick

-2 Mega Pixel front facing camera

and they are having the 16gb one for sale now.

It has not been launched anywhere in the world yet,so how can it land up in mumbai quietly that too in a grey market shop. I think it has been ripped directly from samsung factories in South Korea
 
lol...in alpha they wont allow to u take pics and they dont allow to note down the prices also....and the shop is always full...no place to check out the phones in hand too unless u buy it... btw the shop is far from my place...ne1 nr to alpha can go and take pics secretly and post it :-P

If there is a 4G version for Indian then its plain meh, considering the roof high rates of 3G services currently.

dude i have seen it...and it was clearly mentioned samsung s 2 16gb version...with super amoled plus.....guess thr is only one model with super amoled plus rite now.
 
It is unbelivable that alpha have it before the official launch

It may be fake one also . one cannot trust alfa products

hmmm its very indian mentality that alfa products suck. this topic is so done to death. lemme give u some real life facts. i am a loyal customer to croma and alfa both. alfa is owned by my aquaintence. do u really think they will make products at home ? order a tv in bombay from croma or alfa or vijay sales or any place it will always come from BHIWANDI where all companies stock their goods. alfa guy has always low rates. im not promoting any store here but please stop that fake crap. yesterday alfa had a white iphone 4 which sold for 65k beat that. if u think that is fake it has its loyal customers. i have 2 lcds from them and no issues alfa and croma price there was a diff of 10k. its products have bill and warranty officially. samsung as company knows alfa very well. also there is a building coming up which will combine all of these small alfas into one huge mall. my friend was the earlier owner of the plot. i would not be surprised if he did have it. i shall go today and find out.
 
^ I guess the question about authenticity only came up because of the availability of the phone even before the international launch ?

no one has commented about quality and authenticity of alfa.

The reaction was sheer amazement towards its possibility; if it is true then awesome. Will be waiting for your response after actually checking it.

I, for one, was not even aware of this topic being an active point of discussion (hdidn't know it was done to the death). Thanks for making me aware.

Well, i'm not. I'm just high on a partial upgrade spree rightnow. :)

and if i would get Galaxy S2 then it would be after selling atrix 4g. what will i do of both ?
