Samsung S24FE Home Screen Topmost bar hiding automatically

Phone Model: S24FE

Issue:

Topmost area on home screen where information like time, percentage battery, network signal strength etc appears goes in hiding and reappears only when I pull screen down with fingers.

Pls refer Pic 1 and Pic 2

What I am looking is how can the information stay permanently as it used to in past on home screen and don’t have to scroll down.

Pls advise.

It's a software issue. It could be fixed sooner. I've lost my trust in Samsung, especially with their display light saber issues and rolling out half-baked updates even for the S series like this one.

Did you try restarting the phone

Lol, this what green line issue is called in the west :hilarious:

No wonder when you search for 'green line' all you find are Indian commentators. No westerners

WTF came up with this 'light saber' shit...

Would anyone be able to tell, why aren’t older AMOLED displays developing Green line?

I have a 7 years old Samsung phone and its display is flawless still. Whereas S22 Plus and S24 developed green line. In fact I have seem almost all non-Apple AMOLED display phones developing it sooner or later.

I have a basic inference that this issue begin to emerge with 120Hz AMOLED displays. Older 60Hz AMOLED don’t tend to develop these green lines.

Sorry for being OT.

Yeah I know but we don't call it that here and nobody would think to use that term when searching

We call it GREEN GREEN line.

Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...
