Samsung Star or LG Cookie

guys planning to buy a new phone..may b touch phone under 10k...so made up ma mind regarding this 2 phones Samsung Star & LG Cookie...so do think any other touch phone is better than this 2 under 10k

dont have much of an idea, but AFAIK the Samsung Star is better than the LG...and yes, if ur looking to save some buks then there is a phone in the market section for 7k!....if ur interested u could save some $$ for urself.

P.S. : i have just read the thread - am not promoting the sale :D
 
I would say Samsung Star
Its just awesome...havent used LG cookie, so cant say, but general opinion i have heard that the samsung one is much better

Go for the Non-3G one
Better screen, faster touchscreen etc

Music playback is good (better with Ep-630 with a 3.5mm converter)
Video playback is just awesome. 320*240 at 30fps

supports 8GB Micro SD

Cons:
No software / game install unless u upgrade firmware
Camera doesnt have flash
 
i have tried both in croma.I really liked the touch screen response from cookie.No idea about the internal spec etc
 
I'll recommend cookie between these two models. It retails at Rs.10079 now. The advantage of LG Cookies KP500 was camera 3.15 megapixel,the feature that can play several music player, nice interface, handwriting recognation and adopt touchscreen technology. While the disadvantage was LG Cookies KP500 not support 3G network.
 
both the phones have exact same features. someone has said that 3.15 mp camera of cookie is an advantage over the star. but star has the same mp camera. go for whichever brand you prefer. personally i own the star. but both these phone are exact same in features. no difference at all. what i heard was that interface of samsung's is a bit more mature and smoother as the same touch interface is available in the higher end samsung phones also.

maddy: as per comparison they seem to to be having more or less same features...but Star is a new device with Very good UI...look wise Cookie is better....

go to showroom and get the feel of both the devices and decide...
 
Guys finally bought LG Cookie for Rs.9450/-..after having my hands on ipod touch for so many days..i feel cookie's touch screen interface is far more behind than the apple's..but for the first time who are using a touch screen device for them it is worth buying..
