SAMSUNG LCD monitor warranty policy is a bit weired. The warranty is of 36 months from the date of purchase or 39 months from the date of manufacturing, whichever is less. So make sure the LCD is not aged more than 3 months on the purchase date.

As SAMSUNG says

"36 months from date of purchase / 39 months from month of manufacture whichever is earlier (for 17" or greater CDT monitors and all LCD-TFT monitors)."

Source is THIS :(

Yes, get in touch with them in case of any type of problem at samsung's helpline i.e. (your city code)+30308282. Service is in-house at no extra cost.

Warranty is valid all over India. Just remember to procure original invoice along with Serial no. of LCD monitor printed on invoice rather then hand written.

and its really good. a friend of mine got his entire panel replaced because of 1 dead pixel. they came to his house to do it , and the service guys told him that the replacement panel + labour etc comes to more than the price of the monitor itself :P

Up to my knowledge, second hand product will not have any warranty coverage. I have read about this in TERMS and CONDITIONS. You can search this in samsung web site. But i am not sure. Consult this with the person who is experienced.

Nac, no such policy or regulation is there. Its just a matter of Bill along with serial no. printed on it.

nope -ve ....we are not -transfering- the product. Incase its registered or something ( which isnt the case ) then it cant be transfered from one name to another , that might be the rule ...incase they insist ( which they wont ) -
