OP if you are ok with Intel than Intel HD67BL (B3) @ 5.2k

Nah.. not Intel . they don't use solid capacitors all over board.

Okay, i have shortlisted 3 H67 boards and definitely looking for cheapest but good stable motherboard.

1) MSI H67MA-E35 (B3) LGA 1155 ~ 4.7 K

2) GIGABYTE GA-H67M-D2-B3 ~ 5.25 K

3) ASUS P8H67-M LX B3 ~ 6.05 K

From these boards, is MSI reliable one and good stable for long use ? If i run into Trouble, which company has good support for RMA ?

Which board performs better with Core i5 2400 ?

Hence I too looking for good H67 board & worried about plastic capacitors type with DH67BL (B3) but same time using Intel D845 motherboard since 2004 without a single issue & IIRC this board doesn't have Single Metal Capacitors :)

ASUS P8H67-M LX B3 are you sure the board have ALL METAL Capacitors?

About warranty - at this time Gigabyte :)

okay, what about Core i5 2500 over Core i5 2400 ? they both have Turbo Boost technology. where 2500 goes to 3.7 and 2400 goes to 3.3 . Will the turboboost feature stress my PSU and does it need extra power to utilise Turbo boost feature ?

Nope turbo boost will not stress your psu, its really a fancy name given to some features your older dual cores already have. It does have some newer features.

There is no extra power required or anything the cpu will stay withing its designed power limit. Dont really suggest i52500 over 2400, its a little more clock speed nothing major dunno what the price difference is but you are already stretched.

Instead of P8H67 M LX consider P8H67 M LE

And remove the odd man out (Gigabyte H67M-D2) it costs more than some of its competitor boards and doesn't provide features which other boards offer... For EG. EFI Bios and USB3

@ashis , I too have chosen i5 2400 & with same seach of Mobo , but Google shows that MSI H67MA-E35 (B3) LGA 1155 having some "beep sound issue " while boot up due to USB .

other than Gigabyte is good choice ( although just yesterday 1 ND(national disti) sent back whole Giga boards stock due to problems reported).

Asus is good but I want to hear how bad or good After sales service for their .

I am going for Asus H61 mobo @ 3500 only.. not intended to overclock .. I can sacrifice on USB 3 and Sata 6.0 Gbps ports for now.. and i think Asus H61 will unleash all power of Core i5 2400 without any hiccups :)

lol.. guess wat ?

I have purchased Core i5 2500k @ 10.8K from theitwares.com for future proof and match IVY bridge lowest processor in year 2012

Only processor? what about other components? :S
