Storage Solutions Sata Harddisk Pins Broken

Hi All,

I own a Seagate Sata 1 TB HDD. One of my roomie playing with it broke the plastic supportive for the data pins,

For now the HDD is getting detected but the plastic supportive is stuck in the Sata cable...I guess i cannot continue this forever...

Any suggestions how to get this repaired??

There goes the warranty :ill:. Carefully pull the plastic from the cable using small Tweezers. Now use feviquick to put it back in place. That's all can be done.

Go to nearst seagate / any other computer service center. They will fix it with new port at cost of 150-200.

Thx..but does it have got something to do with PCB??? I will try my luck with the seagate support guys...
