SBI bank (deal with care ) -- my experience !

today i went to state bank of india to make a demand draft.

the bank is situated on the other side of the town. anyways as usual as i was running short of time, i took a auto rickshaw and tried reachin there on time.

well...
i did actually reach on time. i.e before 30mins the bank closes... and guess what i am greeted from a man standing near a door saying go back home, system is slow.

i said wth... i went inside and ask another public relation officer.. he says to me that the lady who make the draft is on leave till monday, so i should i come then...

now i was totally like wtf... i said for a woman who wishes to be on a holiday, u want me to leave aside my work.. wtf..

rather than accepting their faults... the man who greeted me first on the door started abusing me and shouting at me.

now this was 2nd WTF.....

now i totally lost my temper... gave him some piece of good shouting and fraked his managers arse up and made that freakin guy to SAY sorry to me in front of all the staff and customers.
at the first instance of the confrontation, the first door guy even asked me to shut my mouth up in front of his manager.

i directly asked the manager, if that guy is ur relative that you are tolerating him misbehaving with the customer rite in front of your eyes... thats when the panzy manager started requesting the door guy to say sorry ...

manager says :

customer rudely, we not rudely...

doorguy says :

hum nahi kare galti, customer ki galti hai wa... i was like now 3rd timeth WTF...

i am account holder of this bank from past 3 yrs... and yet such lame service...
 
Yeah similar incidents happen to me as well:

Case1: At Suburb(mumbai local) ticket counter.

I asked for a first class ticket from Matunga to Vikhroli that lazy ass was busy chatting across with a coworker and when he took money from me, I again asked him "First Class - Matunga to Vikroli- monthly" that mugger printed a Quarterly Second Class ticket.

I was like WTF, and asked him to issue a new correct one; that SOB replied me that I didn't specified clearly and it would take Rs10 to cancel and re-issue.

The other one who was taking to him came to his rescue saying "sirf paisa dene se kuch nahi hota hai bolna bhi padta kya chaiye" that was like 2nd WTF to me. I shouted on him so loud making him feel that he went outside.

I stood on the counter for 20-mins arguing; a constable came too to rescue him but I didn't gave him a damn.

At the end rest public behind me started shouting on constable and the one on Ticket counter. Finally the station master showed up and I was re-issued correct ticket.
 
I ve had a horrid experience with SBI too.

I never got my 500 bucks as a refund for closing my account :@
 
had some issues with signature scanning :P my signature was not scanned in my account (their going digital upgradation) only my mom's signature was there in my account (we werent aware of the mis-scanning of signature) it was like a month when i was issuing a cheque for a month and all bounced though i had enuff balance.. i asked my mom to sign and next to her i signed, the cheque passed after one month of torture.. me and my dad went to the chief manager, we screwed him, bashed him, took all the bank charges back by the cheque bounce charges and got my signature scanned in front of me :P whoa.. that was sheer 1 month of torture. i was like going to run away from my home if one more cheque happened to bounce.. that WONDERFUL BANK WAS: BANK OF BARODA :)

I <3 <3 <3 HDFC BANK (not even single issue faced in 3 years of banking) except recent issue of me forgetting visa netsafe password :P
 
SBI is notorious for their service.... If we make a list of India's worst bank branches then 9 out of 10 would be SBI branches... :(
 
@Dinesh_Malhotra.. really i am laughing like mads after reading your incident.Man we live in "The Great India" cant do anything.

Such misbehave happened with me many times, sometime turned into big fights,finally in end i felt messing with fools.
 
That is i have stopped going to bank, Atleast i try to avoid. if its necessary i send someone else.

I do all my banking Online & via ATMs
 
goverment stuff is pain in a#$ stuff...

I m facing probs with mtnl guys.....

from past 3 days there net wasnt working.......i took the modem and went directly to the officer office.....his subordinates were busy farting in front of him.....no respect stuff.....but later the officer look to b deserving even my farts...that idiot connected his landline on my modem and screw its mac id...and says u played with the setting and screwed it......i was like what i did...later when i came to my place came to know that idiot himself have f$%ed up the stuff.....

ALso not a single enggr came to my place to know or repair the problem....on call asking check if the net is working..

i m like give me a minute

fone disconnected..i m lik wtf....

waited for an hour no response...left to my office and 2 idiots comes to my place.....mom says my son is out he'll b bak in 30 mins..they are like its okk jus tell if some jadhav enquires that we came.....i was like wtf.....

told mom to tell watchmen to stop those idiots(my office is hardly 5 mins away frm my place).....watchmen says they said theyll b bak after chai-pani and never came

I was like totally pissed.and was abt to kick mtnl...than jus a thght to try opendns..and searched old thread on TE regarding opendns address...and added it .....and net started........

Damn there is not a single enggr with those idiots.....all d%^k head moving ard...now i m thinking to use net 24 - 7 and download as much as i could...still getting good speed .. can download 3 times more than my older connection

if possible its better to stay away frm govt idiots...

Hehe, magnet no offence but u seriously need to work on your written english! Maybe m getting old or something but i needed a timeout there to decipher that block! :bleh:
 
Sad incident .. but there's no need to highlight BIHAR in your post. They could be from anywhere to misbehave with you.

Personally I've had enough of such incidents in my local MTNL, but I don't think I'd have to point out their regionality to share my incident.

Good that you made him to apologize though. Never take their shit.

yeah, the Most Appropriate name for regular updates of being in the rot of being WTF Indian experience & the reality it caries...

yeah, make it a sticky...really enlightningly revolting...keep the updates coming in, mayb i would myself put in a personal xperience later on!
 
well wat more can u expect of govt nationalized banks
myself had such bad experience with punjab n sind bank!!

no issues with hdfc watsoever.
thats wat we call private sector!!:P
 
@Dinesh: You can give a complaint in writing to the Banking Ombudsman. The banks in India are really scared of this organisation. Write to them on how this branch is actually telling people that a demand draft cannot be made as the officer in-charge is on leave and how this door fellow treated you. Once this reaches them, the manager will pay you a visit and get down on his knees and apologise to you.

+1 to warning the bank about the (BO) banking ombudsman of RBI at least for private banks. my bank (private) was giving a lower FD interest rate than that advertised (for senior citizen) and complaints were falling on deaf ears until mentioning this would be escalated to bank heads then to the BO. although im not sure if govt banks even care about the BO heh, they must be hand in glove together out to scam customers...
