Scariest PC Games that you played

Haunted Cathedral in Thief Dark Project & Shalebridge Cradle in Thief Deadly Shadows. System Shock 2 gave me creeps with intense atmosphere. Also Call of Cthulu is very scary!!

With next gen graphics, it would be really awesome!!

But then, the story would be known to all i suppose which is a small downer..

Well. Undying is a perfectable example of how good a story goes in making a great game!:)
 
AVP2 has to be the scariest, no contest whatsoever. Can't comment on AVP because I didn't get a chance to play it.

RTCW, I'd say comes second.

FEAR was eerie up until you start figuring out the plot, and just like Doom 3, the fights became too predictable LOL and it was a piece of cake after that :D
 
^ The marine campaigne in AVP2 was scary but RTCW wasn't scary at all lol.

Undying has to be the winner.
Many people found System Shock 2 scary, but Undying remains the only game I actually dreaded playing.
The end levels were disappointing though where the game became totally Lovecraftian and big ugly monsters aren't scary at all imo.
