Joining the bandwagon of writers and artists, veteran scientist P M Bhargava will return the awards he received from the government of India to protest against “the government’s attack on rationalism, reasoning and science.”

Bhargava, who was the founder-director of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), said he would return his Padma Bhushan at a time when “Modi government is giving room for communalists and fringe groups to divide the country based on religion.”

Talking to The Indian Express, he said: “An artist can express his dissent by doing an art work. But I am a scientist. How will I protest through my work? So I had to take the decision to return the award as it is the only way to register my protest.”

These are same people who didn't want modi as pm

So no surprise they are acting stupid.

I was hoping to see people on this tech Forum to give up their expensive mobiles, computers gadgets and Internet connection as a protest.

I don't see it happening at all. :D, instead all are buying tons of these in deals

So yeah that's about it.........

There are only two types of people moving around in the country with a camera and a mic.
1) to ask all the people in front of the camera if there's rise in intolerance and whether they would return their awards, passport, Aadhaar card, railway ticket.
2) to ask people to use their mobile data to do expensive downloads of movies or videos in order to increase revenue for some 4G network.
