Laptops Screen replacement for ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Gen 6)

Title. I took it to a Global Technologies store here in Hyderabad, and after initially quoting 7.3K they are now quoting 10K for the base 1080p panel. Is that a fair price for such a repair? Or can I get it done for cheaper elsewhere, or even by myself if I can order the part?

Any help is appreciated.

Replacing the screen is actually pretty easy, just pop the bezel, remove 4-8 screws, remove old screen, add new screen, put in screws, put in bezel , route wire through hinge to laptop body and connect to motherboard.

Sourcing the panel is the hard part and if you cheap out you can get a really subpar panel which looks like shit. 7.5k for the panel is actually a decent quote provided they are giving an OEM original panel and not compatible shit.
