Laptops Screen replacement price... :(

Hi folks,

My out of warranty Ideapad Z570's screen broke by accident. How much would a replacement cost?

I looked online, the cheapest is 5k on eBay. Don't know if it is original.. Lenovo people would charge a bomb.. :(

It is a 15.6" 1366x768 screen

Yes, I can visit Nehru Place market..

That is why need to know how much it will cost otherwise..
 
If you don't want to spend a bomb, you do get screens manufactured by third party vendors. It will cost you around 3-4k depending on the quality of the screen. Don't order it online though. Go to Nehru place and look around for any laptop repair shops. Ask in a few places and you should get a rough estimate on how much it would cost you.
 
Is this first year of your laptop? If yes, then lenovo provides a warranty extension including Accidental damage Protection in just 1500/-
 
My cousin got it replaced for ~6K in local repair shop, last week. His model is 3 years old.
 
Replaced my Samsung net book screen . It was from Samsung service centre . About 4k . Original and peace of mind .
 
My one more friend got Dell Mini 10 screen replaced for 2300 - 3 months warranty - local service centre.
