Is this running firmware which can still be rooted to run custom linux firmware ? If so, I'm interested.

I sort of remember that Seagate had changed passwords with newer original firmware, which would prevent ppl from installing custom Linux firmware.
 
It has jeff latest uboot

it will not call home and update password as that has been disabled

password is stxadmin and you can run pogoplug also it will not update firmware/password

you just require a pendrive to run a debian

order the connector from dealextreme and you can use it like a normal usb 70 bucks

so total 4 usb ports

will give the link to whoever buys if he is too lazy to search on dealextreme

i have it in my wishlist of dealextreme

or if E2000 gets sold

As i will have no use for E2000 without dockstar

if both dont sell i fall back to my debian
