Which SATA harddrive would be better ? SEAGATE OR SAMSUNG. Also seagate drives with NCQ technology is supported by all nforce4 ultra series motherboards .?

Out of those, I'd go Seagate. However look for Hitachi T7K SATA drives if you can find them.

Which OSes you want to use? Seagate SATAs are blacklisted, and result in sucky performance in Linux. Even in Windows, some of the drives wqill show surprisingly low perf

yeah hitachi drives r the best...closely followed by maxtor and WD

Seagate still plagued with the drive failure probs they used ta have?? Or sorted out...

I remember selling 40gig PATA's seagate and outta 60-70 drives....50 +drives came back within 1 year
