whenever I put the details of my new 7200.11 500gb hdd purchased on Thursday at Warranty Validation I get:

Expiration Unknown

Confirm Entry

shall I return the hdd to the dealer & ask for another one?

before u do so , and go thru the entire hassel of removing ur stuff from the hdd and then reloading / reformating / repartitioning why don't u take a screenshot of the error message u are getting and contact the :

or u can call on 1-800-180-1104

9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Monday - Saturday

That should sort out what exactly u need to do , u can attach the purchase invoice along too

well i still have not installed it

Edit: emailed Warranty Support right now too

Udit...sometimes it doesn't work with the model no....enter the part no & serial no....it should work.
