Just had a mail exchange with Abhishek, the General Manager for Tirupati Enterprises and Clive Chan, Seasonic Taiwan.

This was the response from Abhishek:

For the below enquiry on Seasonic PSU's, we were offering 3 year warranty earlier. However, with the support from Mr Clive we are now offering 5 year warranty on the entire range of Seasonic PSU's in India.

I hope all the warranty issues on the Seasonic units are clear now.

On a side note, we shall shortly see a tech. support representative from Seasonic. :)
 
We shall revise the warranty on all Seasonic PSUs and shall notify our branch offices. All Seasonic PSUs will carry a 5 year warranty. Thanks for making us a part of your forum. We shall ensure that members get proper support on all products distributed by us. We shall also give special offers exclusively for TE members.
 
A great news for Seasonic PSU owners aswell as for ppl who are looking to buy Seasonic PSUs... I think that day isn't far now when we will b able to buy each and every component which we used to buy (and import) from other countries... :)
 
@Gannu: Do we have word on when Seasonic is bringing the X-series to India?

X-650 is one of the best PSU's evaar, apparently.
 
Great to hear this! The bronze series had only 3 year warranty in India earlier, whereas it was 5 years in other countries. Good to see Seasonic and Tirupati getting that right here. :D

I recently got a Corsair VX450 after a lot of thinking. Would have taken the Seasonic 520W had this been cleared earlier. :(

X Series is now available in India. X760 and X850 are now available. Contact THEITWARES in Dealer Section
