Galvanizer
Budget : Upto 3-3.5K each unit
These have to be installed at my own residence, where I stay & not in some shop or leased out premises.
Requirements
Indoor (In hall)
-Should be able to record in good quality, 360 degree will be better
-Ample storage option onboard (Via SD card is also fine)
-Should be able to access past 7-10 days video and if required export to computer without having to remove the device
-No batteries, should run directly on electricity as too much of a hassle to charge every now and then
-Wifi connectivity so can view live video remotely on mobile
-Doesnt have to be discreet as indoor
----------------
Outdoor
(Above the door, to monitor who is coming in our absence)
-Discreet? (Bulb ones are good i feel) not a mandatory requirement but having it is good.
-Cloud storage without any subscription costs if possible (Atleast past 7 days video), just in case someone decides to take out the device itself the SD card in it will also go away.
-Able to extract videos on computer if required
-No batteries, should take power from the electric outlet
-Live video option from mobile
-Wifi I'm not sure if it'll catch as i have a concrete block, but having wifi would mean would be able to see live video remotely on mobile.

Thanks

Usually, when you have multiple cameras, you use NVR (Network video recorder). All cameras report to NVR and the video feed is stored on HDD. Whenever you want to view the feed, you connect to NVR through a browser.

You may want to look into IP CCTVs. Either wifi (need power from electrical socket and can go offline during power outage) or wired (get power from CAT cable itself and is possible to give power backup in case of power outage). Given the option always go with wired IP cctvs. Using too many wifi camera will hogg your local wifi.

I'm not an expert and I'm also exploring in this field.

Mate, don't put hidden cameras if that's what you mean. You can get in legal trouble. Also you are supposed to put up the banner saying this premise/space is under CCTV observation.

Not into setting up extra hardware mate (The vcr like thing), we dont have power issues here so thats not an issue.
The camera's are to be installed in my own residence where i stay (Indoor + Outdoor, above main door to see who is coming in our absence, if anyone is), just to monitor if something unfortunate were to happen if we aren't around. Not applying them into some tenant's place or something like that.

Initial thought was to apply an indoor one only, will think about the outdoor one or drop if its too much of a hassle.

I'm doing same here. Electrician will be laying a few CAT cables for outdoor cctvs. Nothing indoor though. I'm putting 4 cameras around the house and one on the terrace.

If you live in apartment then it's simple for you. You can also use doorbell camera to monitor outside.

I'm not sure if the doorbell camera has recording feature?
