The thing is this random vandalizing does not qualify as news.

face it theres worse stuff going on, shiv sainiks are not gonna start behaving, nor is MNS. These guys look like docile cows compared to the violence in the northern state politics.. Infact I am glad for what they are, as if they werent there, they would be without doubt be replaced by a more violent political faction...

Let them have their fun, its not gonna get them anywhere, nor is the place gonna be better without them.

Hmm makes me think its very much like how Intel's market position is right now, if they want they can wipe off AMD within months and capture the remaining mkt share, but what they fear is the monopolistic acts kicking in place etc.. So even though they are a nuinsance, dont bother with them much as to the other alternative is gonna be a nasty lot...

I agree with u to an extent , what i dont agree with is the "fun" they are having at the cost of common ppl.

and as for the other states , why are the problems mumbai & maharashtra getting blown out of proportion when we have more crazy stuff happening around the country ?

It does seem like MNS has rubbed many ppl from the media the wrong way & the way they are acting on it is making the incidents like this big news whereas even bigger problems from other states dont get any mention. dont the common ppl from states like UP , Bihar , TN suffer from political goondas ?

its not about only things happnin in mumbai is gettin reported..
MUMBAI is on the epitome of indian commercial hub. a single halt in day to days working of mumbai creates a national turmoil which is not easliy visible to us, but it does effect.

im commenting about the ppl who work at A-class restuarants n 3-5star hotel after doing graduation/diploma in Hotel Management.
These graduates are employed on the basis of their qualification n experience...n i dont think being a part of any labour union qualifies as a valid reason for any industry to expel their workers.

Yes ofcourse, like the shiv sena and MNS, you're only interested in the places which make it to the news, the dhabas where young children are made to work jus for getting meals twice a day mean nothing to you and your types..Cause ransacking a dabha wont get you on to the front page and wont be incentive enough for you to come and flame here..

If they are underpaid and overworked, leave the job and find another, if you cant find a job for more then i guess you're worth that much only..period.
You want to work at some place, you work according to the people who own the hotel else leave the work simple..

i think u did not read my previous post correctly.

i will reiterate it...point by point...n also add which i havent already.

1) i was commenting abt ppl employed on the basis of the academics n qualification.

2) i am nt intrested in shiv sena n its propaganda.

3) ppl working at dhaba did not choose to work there as their carrier path.

4) almost all hotels(3-5star) n restaurants(A-class) pay in that range...so changing job isnot a feasible option rather than to rebel against the unfair. Most of these students are flying abroad for better job..n work here only to have potential to afford flying abroad.

5) BKS may have been formed by shiv sena or whatever... but does it imply it works for the better of their party rather than labours?

apart from that... what i want to know is..

what makes it so obvious for u to think of the Management in that hotel unbiased/unpolitical?(if it is so)

just bcoz they are at a well paid n well reputed post does not make their action acceptable...,does it??!!

no the side note, i would like to mention that you have gone personal by accusing me of something which i havent done.

i did not support what shiv sena did, i did not support the violence.

all i have debated till now is whether the management in the hotel was right or not, n how students in hotel management are treated.

please go through the whole thread next time before making a quick snappy judgement...
