And Apple Denied service to me for my iPhone 3GS and iPad because it was purchased internationally.

Just curious to know if that iPad was with cellular functionality or not ?

One of my friend has claimed warranty for iPad bought in US here in India though i dont know the details but it was more than a year back.

When i bought the iPad in HK from Apple store, i was informed that i'll get warranty in India (no warranty on iphones though).
So last week i went to apple retail store (Maple) and asked them if i will get warranty on iPad in HK and he said that i will.
Then i asked if i'll get warranty on iPad bought in HK here to which he said that i should in principle but i should check with the service center guys to be sure as he is in Sales.
Now the same store is also Apple service center but shuts at 6pm so it was closed at that time.
