Should i buy the Nokia N82 ?

Guys....
as my B`day just passed ( 3rd June ), i have somewhat decided to gift myself a Nokia N82 for 19200 rupees.

(initially i had tot of buyin a N78.. but for the price of 19.5-20k its a .... FoNe)

so in short wat i want to ask u guys is if shud i buy it ?

wat are the Pros, Cons !

plz help me guys.... its my Bday gift !

N82 is the only phone i would recomment in the N-Series, doesn't have the frequent hickups and hangs like the other phones(even n95) and its really fast, can double as a Video Recorder (records at 30fps). so its a good phone overall.

if u like it take it is what i say....

it depends entirely on u wether u wanna flaunt it .. or want something loaded with features which wd help u in the longer run.

If u want to purchase something for the sheer show off .. something which wd be eye catchin in the first shot itself.. get the iphone.. whichever is within ur budget.

And eventually u wd feel its something u did right... maybe

If u want to get something for urself .. which wd serve u from the day one.. and wil give u a feeling of satisfaction.. get something like N73

a great fone combined with exceptional camera.. serving u dual purpose.

And the music edition will let u get the best deal for that segment and the price tag wont allow u to ask the question ... ki ITS A FONE GOD DAMNIT

Wrong. I felt the same way and bought a n73me last year, which makes me regret about spending 20k on a ****ing brick. It was one of the worst decisions i had ever made, but i guess we dint have too much of an option either, because of the n-series hype at that point and nokia selling them at bloated rates which it still does. But again this is what i personally feel, so dont flamebait hyeah:

the 5mp carl zeiss takes some really good snaps and the xenon flash can be very handy for dim light/night shots.

30 fps video recording

wifi

tv out ,UI rotation(like the iphone)

3.5 mm jack to directly plug in your ep 630 or other headphone.

built in GPS

128 mb of ram ..makes it faster compared to other Nseries symbian phones which are laggy at times.

GPS is supposed to be just ohk not all that good.

doesnt looks that good ..(personal view)

so if your buying it get the new black one cause white one looks quiet ugly IMO.

i think there are not many flaws in the phone ..and anyways the +points are enough to make you buy the phone.i am sure you will like this future studded phone ..

(*dont know about the looks casue personally i dont like the looks)

i dont think we guys should compare it to the iphone

..cause for 25-26k (grey price) and almost 30 k (official price when its gonna be launched) i phone is just not worth the money.

but if you can manage to get a i phone from US or via KMD under 20 k i think it will be nice.

but it depends on your needs..if you want a totally balanced phone with good cam included ..N82 is the way .

if you are looking for a pure multimedia phone with an awesome screen and music capabilities ands 16GB of storage to watch movies and store all your music . i phone is the phone for you.

from what ive seen i phone is a gadget which people usually love it or hate it ...and if it was possible for me to get it for the US price ...i love it .

Yea.. the N73 was priced ridiculously then ..
now i believe its available for a very decent price. And anyone with that sort of a budget shd really take a look at that.

My frnd has the fone and get pretty good pics with that.
And the fone has been serving him well for the past one year and few months maybe.

I would suggest you to wait for the G900 & G700 from SE to release (which shouldn't be long now). I think these 2 phones are going to be bestsellers like the k750 was. See what their price is and then make the decision.

MY Opinion,
Its a Superb phone, the flaws that people think are just their personal choice, (some like smal buttons, some dont)
The ONLY flaw i see in the phone is the screen size, there is no substitute for screen size i can only make u feel better by sayin that the resolution is the same as n95 so u arent missing anything..
The screen is crisp..
With the S60 [platform cracked, therre are new avenues open, u can customise even the active standby screen, and install unsigned apps..:hap2:
Look at the iphone, and compare them, if u can get the phone of a day or two from a friend theres nothing like it...
Iphone has its advantages, but also has disadvantages...look at them too..
And yeah once u buy it dont even think abt saying that its BAD..cause im absolutely in love with it..(love backed with reason,Not blind )

and if you read my post properly you will come to know that i am not inclined towards SE ..infact i told him to get the N82 because there are almost 0 zero flaws in the phone..

i think u didnt read my posts properly..maybe you just read the bad looks comment which was my personal opinion ..and you got hyper just because you own the phone and love it.
