bought from switch which is 1 month old the card loks all new and its max tomax not more than 3 months old [total me+switch]
btw i dont have 10k more to get 7900gt rt now.
so u see if i sell after 6/7 monhs and get around 9k to 10k its all fine.
but if i wanna get g80 i definitely have ot ask some guys help out to source 4m us as g80 here means blast on my pocket.
i am thinking financially becuz all hese r funded by me.
yeah infact I may have something working out about that G80 when it getz here...for u dada... or s(w)itchy can always chip in... he is the graphics :bleh: promo guy here...sorta like green peace for everything IT :P

I can get you a G80 from the US when I get mine... and assume you'll get about 8-9k for your 6800U in 6 months.

@funky, I'm still trying to figure out how one can benefit from your strategy vs. buying a highend card and saving cash for 1.5 years (1k a month), selling old card, using saved + sale cash for the next highend card :)

thanks a lot mate :hap2:

Hey!!! where has my post disappeared??

Anyway I said ... Do what I am doing.... keeping my 6800GT for the next 2 yrs :P

Joe, just stick with the 6800U man.
Its a very decent card.
Your not really gonna need a 7900GT right now. If you were on an ATi card, then it was a bit sensible. Anyways. Stick with it till the DX10 cards role out.

Yea stick with ur 6800u. Ur running at 1024X768 most prob or at max 1280X1024. A 6800u is more than enough for playing at these resolutions. Wait till rio gets a G80/R600 for u. And it dosent matter if u sell the 6800u later, whatever lower price u have to sell for will me made up by more features + better performance of the newer cards.
