Hi everyone,
This is my first time getting a pc, before that I only had a i3- 6th gen laptop which i used for video editing (pr only). Now I want to upgrade and get a pc for my video editing/photoshop and if possible i also want to do some 3d in it. Not much but like few seconds scene if i can create to be used in my projects if needed. Just saying so you know my requirements.
My budget is 80k rupees maximum. I never buit a pc before so I have been researching from few days but getting confused alot. I got few quotation and I liked one I am going to share with you. Please help me and guide me. I have no one around me to help with this build and this pc is big leap of faith I am taking for my work.
Here is the pc built:

AMD
Ryzen 7 7700 upto 5.3Ghz

Motherboard
MSI B650M Gaming WIFI DDR5

Cooler
Deepcool AG400 ARGB Air Cooler

RAM
Corsair 32x1 Vengeance 5200Mhz 32GB C40 Black DDR5

GPU
Inno3D RTX 3050 Twin X2 8GB

Storage
WesternDigital Blue 1TB SN580 Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSD

Psu
Deepcool PL650D

Cabinet
Deepcool CC360 Black

PS: According to my litte research I think few things that I will change in this is get a 16x2 ram rather than 32. And also I dont like this cabinet much and i dont know which one will be good.
And another big concern i have is about the PSU, is the above one good if not do recommend me.

Finally please take a overall look and make changes or even suggest me with a fresh built that falls in my budget. Please.

Why not take a Used 3060 or 3060ti instead if 3050, I feel that's a better pair with your processor. If you're in luck you might even get a 4060 as well (but that's pretty rare).

Intel integrated graphics is very good for decoding and support more formats. Smoother timeline scrubbing for some formats.

Check this link: Hardware decode

For me i5-12600k is still a very good budget processor. You can go for other models depending on your budget.

Buy a good psu. Google PSU tier and you'll find a list.

I was also thinking about going for other processor so i can get a better psu. But the doubt i had was is it bad to get a lessor core processor because i also want to use it for little 3d? Sorry if what i am saying doesn't make sense. I am a newbie.

Better see real life workflow for the processor you chose. Tech Notice does playback test for video editing. You can go for amd if you don’t work with 4:2:2.
My brother uses ryzen 5 3600 Gtx 1650 4gb with 16gb ram for editing 4K 60 fps in premiere and davinci. Works ok.
For 3d you might a gpu but large vram. That new intel b580 is looking real nice.

Just searched about b580 and it looks nice. Thankyou for your time. I guess I will reconsider my pc build.

If 3d is needed, you'll have to give a little more importance to GPU & VRAM.
I hate to say this but for professional purpose, Nvidia is hard to beat. A used 3060 12gb would be a good bet.
Reddit threads on intel arc cards are not encouraging for productivity.

And what kind of stuff do you edit? If you don't work with 4k, you can make do with fewer cores.

I use Ryzen 5 3600, 1660 super & 32gb ram for editing (No I'm not msvsme's brother:P).
It handles everything 1080p I have thrown at it in Premiere, Resolve & After Effects. I've even done a tiny bit of blender on it.

4k is a different story though. Depending on the codec, 4k 60fps scrubbing on Premiere can stutter on my machine.
After Effects can be extremely taxing as well. (Random out of memory messages etc.)

Actually I dont really have a camera yet so the issue is not about 4k at all. This is my first pc build and my point is if i have spending 80k...i want to have the best so i dont regret later.
Also yess reddit, reviews, youtube everything is just confusing me so much as i just started my research and never really followed PC tech this much.

I have been editing videos in premier only till now...since i mentioned i had i3-6th gen laptop but i do edit heavy videos in terms of effects.

But now since i was upgrading i wanted to use after effects and may be incorporate 3d (when needed). I understand 3d and vfx is just different dimension and there are render farms built for that. But you know if you can understand what i am trying to say. Since its a big investment for me I wanted to get the best in my budget. So it can last me atleast some years without any issues coz if i faced any issue then i am over...I got no money to fix things

Where can i find second hand good gpu?
Either on this forum, Nehru place if you are close by or through checking videos on youtube. I bought my RTX 3070 used from someone's shop in Nehru place after finding the shop through a youtuber who makes videos on such topics called "The new age wanderer" (not a promo ofc I don't know the guy personally). See if you can find a shop which is close to you if you are willing to go this route. FYI I bought my RTX 3070 for 20k a few months back. The same is going for 19k now and will become more cheaper with time as RTX 5000 series is just about to launch.

As for your build, you can choose any cabinet which has mesh in front (so not one that is blocked by a permanent plastic/glass) for easier air flow through the PC. The PSU you chose is just okay, If you want more piece of mind then go with its better gold rated model Deepcool PM650D. It is a bit costlier though.

Also do not worry too much about building your own PC, It looks like a daunting task but 100% doable if you have done your research (which looks like you have if you ask me). I have built a few PCs so far and on my first build my biggest mistake was to not install the standoff screws that were provided with the PC which slightly bend the motherboard but nothing major, which is probably not as issue for new build makers anymore since most cases come with those standoffs pre-installed. Anyway too much information. Good luck.
