should i take risk on not working tablet on olx?

i don't know if this is right place for this but, I found this person selling samsung note 10.1 on olx for 2.5k and they were claiming that they got it checked by samsung care and the care professional told him that the lcd ribbon is not woring and would need to be replaced, but they don't have the ribbon right now. What is causing me bit of worry is that they seem to have two of these tablet and in personnal chat they also told me that there was a third working tablet they sold for 6k and when i said i will buy the tablet but if we cann meet at the samsung care, so that the care can confirm the problem in front of me the seller just refused and said they won't wanna bother for 2.5k. On one side i don,t wanna waste 2.5k and this sounds like a scam on other i can really use a tablet for my study. What do you guys think, should i take the risk

Nope is what I would suggest. Again as you your self said, its a risk. if 2.5k is something loosing doesn't affect your, then only go for it.
 
i did some editing work online and have the money from that but still loosing 2.5K will way heavy for me, so probably not gonna do anything.
 
Well if its a such a small issue they can get it fixed and sell at a much higher price.
May be you can ask the local samsung store in your or their vicinity about the availability of the ribbon, if its actually out of stock may be there is a faint merit.

But still i wouldn't advise you to waste time, money however small on such a deal.

If you are okay buying from olx then Keep looking, you ll surely land a deal..
 
Yeah, I am not gonna do anything regarding this. Just too many red flags in my mind.
