CPU/Mobo Should I use AMD Cool 'n' Quiet

for CnQ to work, u need these:

1) enable it in the bios (if there is no such option in the bios it means it is enabled by default)

2) install the CnQ driver provided by AMD (shud be included in the mobo driver cd)

3) set power management to 'minimal'

restart and CnQ should work fine

CnQ has posed no problems to me and works brilliantly and you can overclock even with CnQ on.
 
I would advise downloading the latest AMD driver, rather than using the one in the mobo cd. Who knows whether the driver provided is the roblem u face.

Let me tell u, CnQ brought down idle temps for my comp by 10 C
