SIB Laptop Arm with Monitor stand

Should I Buy this Arm and is this setup viable if I don't want to use any extended but for seperate tasks ? Reason being I have a very small desk and cannot afford a bigger desk right now plus also due to space constraints. Do you guys recommend this type of setup for my small desk?
My laptop will be mainly used for Work and monitor will be for gaming only.. if yes, I do have few questions

1) Any specific model you guys recommend under 2-2.5k ?
2) How comfortable is this while playing games on monitor if anyone already tried ergonomic wise ?
3) Important one, how does one type on the Work Laptop when it's in the air cuz basically I use my wireless keyboard for gaming not for Work.

It's doing pretty well. I had used it with a pretty thin table and it worked without any issues. Currently using it with an Ikea Meltorp..

I bought this one after my first post and after checking out few reviews. Serving me well because it also has a grommet mounting options other than just clasp base.
