I once left home to go to the market wearing my Infosys ID card
and did not realize till my friend asked me why I was wearing it !!!!

few days back I slept at 11:30 in the night and woke up in the morning
at 7:00 and suddenly thought that I haven't completed 9.15 hours and
laughed at myself when I realized that.

And as I finished.. I started walking towards the wash basin with plates in my hand..

at my personal internet connection at home...
thinking it will be blocked any way.

I have a experience to share tooo ..
I was earlier working at the back office of an international Bank.
We used to 'dispatch' lot of Credit / Debit cards and
statements for the customers and track its delivery later.
Once my granma was admitted in a hospital,
my team mate once casually asked me
" howz ur granma doing now ? still in hospital ? " ...
and i replied to her " She is better now ,
she will dispatched from the hospital tomorrow !"
This was followed by a loud laugh in the entire bay !

And I - after a forty hour marathon in Bhubaneshwar with Powerbuilder,
decided to take a break and went to a movie. In the middle of the movie,
when I wanted to check the time,
I kept repeatedly glancing at the bottom right corner of the theatre screen!

1. Pressing ctrl+alt+del on the home system when getting up.

2. Ending gmail messages with a 'thanks and regards', whom so ever it may be to.

3. Underscoring all file names.

4. Leaving on a Saturday for a movie, dinner -- realizing office ID is in the pocket. Picked it up.
 
I don't work. But still theres an instance..

My friend was admitted in the hospital so I went to see her. At the reception I asked is my friend submitted here :lol:

Later on we laughed a lot on the same :rofl:
 
^umm.. what?

My previous office had the washroom door right next to the exit which had the regular access system for company id card.Often I went to the loo, fished the card in the pocket and almost placed it on the frame of the door, only to realize there's no access system.the stupid access system makes an ass out of me.

I've always clipped it to my pant belt loop, instead of wearing it around my neck like some bonded animal.

LOL even I do that and walk into a restaurant or supermarket without realising I should have left it at home. :ashamed:

I too had the habit of wearing the ID tag outside the company. Too absent minded to remove it. :bleh:
So once i went to pantaloons with my Friend. She was searching for clothes and I was hanging around.
So suddenly a girl comes to me and asks me about Some dress and i was like WTF!!!
I don't work here. She said that i was wearing the ID Tag, so she thought that i work at Pantaloon. :P
 
almost the whole of the experiences seem made up by someone in their free time. ex: which idiot will flash his access card at his home door? and looking at theater screen bottom right corner? what a laugh! only an idiot could have imagined that. even a child will know difference between theater screen and comp monitor screen.

quite possible.. Last night, I was preoccupied with some thoughts and pressed the unlock button on my car key while approaching the house door
 
I had to display my ID card to the guards from inside of the car whenever I had to enter/leave the office complex. This use to happen at least 3-4 times a day. I sometimes use to display my ID card while entering my apartment complex too!

This happens when you are absent minded. Whenever you see a guard and a door and your mind is somewhere else, out of habit you do the same!!
 
Also now since i have a touch screen phone, whenever i get hold of a non touch screen phone, by habit i start pressing their screens too.
Only to realize that it is not a touch screen. :P
 
Surfing TE every 15 mins, logging out after every 15 mins and loggin' in after every 15 mins.

This is only Side effect I am facing, right now.

What Mr.Pinga has done here is copied an entire Blog from Internal Infosys Blog and posted it here. I assure you that all these incidents are real and the People are actual employess in Infosys. Though I really dont knw why he has posted it here word by word.
