so my chipset fan was dead for quite sometime....(14 days to be precise)
the alternate was to keep my comp open and have a table fan blow over it ..
then asked Dj to get me a chipset fan and he did..
but b4 i could go to his place to get it changed my mobo died on me!!!
well so i took it to the service center .. cursing myself(not cause mobo died but that i had to go to asus!!!!)
anyways so after a 10 day wait i got back my comp with the new chipset fan(the bigger one)
but hey wait they only fixed the fan and gave it back!! but it stil dosnt work!
so the solution??? :no: :no: :no: ya you guessed it!!

and now its been a month ... and the reason???
the mobo was sent to banglore.. and the banglore guys are shifting their office somwhere else and that the machine that is used to repair my mobo is dead too!!! :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :( :( :( :( :(

so i called up em today again...
and now they telling me to call back on monday evening to know whether i would be getting a replacement mobo or not...
damn the mofos .. a$$holes and whatnot!!!!:@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@

btw what is a credit system all abt??? they were takin abt that...
so now if i do get a replacement would i get the same mobo or a lesser model?? cause darn i would kill em all if they give me aything less then the deluxe!

Well the Asus A8N SLI Dlx board is known to have that problem and normally they replace the fan quite fast.
I donno whats the reason for your board dying...
Anyways sorry about what happened,i really hope you get a replacement fast.
 
well chic........i guess we need to change our ids i guess...since we both share same probs with asus.......
is rashi the point where u gav the mobo????

i do guess asus products r not that gr8...as they r said....or say......the service centre is not so gr8........
i had probs which i did mentioned it hear before......
also i guess his ppl hand over mobos..which other ppl had submitted for probs and got repaired...instead of repairing same board..........
 
^^ quiet true..consider yourself lucky if you get a spanking new mobo replacement as it is a common practise to handover other ppls repaired mobo as a replacement for a faulty mobo..moreover asus aftersales service has not been the best here in india...tht honour still goes to intel..

Though i will not question the quality of asus products (mainly mobos) as they are quiet solid in the quality department..i have a p4p800 delux for the last 2 years and you'll find it hard to believe but it never ever caused a freeze or a reboot...not even once...

but yeah, faulty pieces do come up sometimes, curse yourself if you r the unlucky one because their aftersales isnt going to make you feel any better.. :P
 
yup luk is right word...........well of the 5 mobos of asus i have used not a single lasted mor than 2 months.....wht a luck......now using gigabyte cheap version mobo with a cheap intel process...but congo to me its completed 2 months........
 
^^ haha..congrats magnet.. :P ..jus jkin.. on the serious side, you may try your luck with MSI or DFI this time...sure they may last much longer.. :) But again their aftersales is worse than Asus' in india..plus DFI doesnt have a formal sales setup here..but their mobos rock..
 
yup i gave em galis and told em that i dont want my mobo now gimme a replacement. why do you have to give everyone galis and only then will they listen??????
anyways so told my dealer to talk to digicom guys in regard the replacement mobo..
i also heard that they dont usually give spankng new mobos..
dunno now lets see... its sooo frustrating too!! damn them!
 
so now they said that i should get my mobo in 3-4 days..
first they`ll ask for a confirmation from banglore and if they recieve a go -ahead then i should get a replacement.
now the thing is that my dealer i think was neoteric . so they said that i would get my mobo from neoteric... once i show em my challan or whatever..
now i just hope that i get it and not be made to run around even more...

wanted to know what is this credit system of thiers? they dont wanan tell a******s!! ..
 
Credit system is simple !

If u paid 10k for ur mobo, then ur entitled to recieve a mobo worth 10k as of today :)

I had a torried time with Asus and theit pathetic service....my K8V died and they tried to pass me a used K8V as a replacement(this after 2 months of abusing the asus service ppl "digicom") that bloody mobo didnt even work in the service centre...then they tried to give me a K8V-X...which didnt have 4 sats ports... then i got a credit note as my warranty was tranfered to Rashi...who were quite helpful n i got a K8N4E-Dlx for by paying 800 bucks...
If your board is with Digicom...and if u come across Mr Giridhar...the most hopeless person around...give him a nice earful...
 
I have the same problem with Asus . I bought a asus 6800 ultra card 1 yr back and it went bad on december last year . I gave the card to Rashi on december 24th and i am still waiting for the replacement . On asking Rashi they say that the stupid Digicom experts r working on my card , till yesterday when they said it can't be repaired . I am planning to take this issue to a legal court if they dont replace the card by saturday.
 
sck i guess.......u better tell them to giv u a new peice box pack...or else ull matter the stuff in press(cnbc,tv channels).......inorder to save companys name.......
i better bet u first mail the asus guys abt this decision and i guess they will contact u directly if doesnt then do go to press........
