I have the same problem with Asus . I bought a asus 6800 ultra card 1 yr back and it went bad on december last year . I gave the card to Rashi on december 24th and i am still waiting for the replacement . On asking Rashi they say that the stupid Digicom experts r working on my card , till yesterday when they said it can't be repaired . I am planning to take this issue to a legal court if they dont replace the card by saturday.
well rashi is my rpc centre too.......but prob is its located in damn shitty place hardly any place to stand........only sudhir over there is a good guy there.......call him with name and he will directly talk to u ..........no need to contact other guys...they r the bigget idiots... i called them and they said my mobo is ready...over phone..i travelled all the way for 2 hrs to come to know through sudhir that the mobo was not repaired yet...and the other fool was givin me the same mobo without repairing......and also wasted my time..............

but in short i still thinks better get guarantee such that....when u face prob...u giv it bak to dealer frm where u bought it.. get other new peice(if they tells to pay for it then do the adjustment)...and if that old peice is repair and u wish to tak that bak....after paying some 300-400 charge for peice u used get the old bak....atlest u will get some working stuff.........

so mak this clear guys in start.....wht if peice gets bad ......and all and mak this stuff clear
 
My agp card was sent to Digicomp - bangalore , and the in-charge there I guess is someone named Venkatesh who is an idiot too (as most of the digicomp guys r) .

Finally got a word from rashi they said they'll replace my card tomorrow,I don't know how they r gonna replace it because 6800 ultra production has stopped .

hahaha.....Digicom....the establishment should be blown off...they are simply useless!!!

I infact have a 'mms' of a heated argument between myself n Girihar from didicom mumbai...watching it now it seems so damm funny listenin to his bloody excuses!!!
 
ya you guys kinda made me feel good.

i knwo when i went first in june i gave em a earful. actuallly my friend did.. lol.. but it wasnt of anyuse cause they still took 20 days to replace the darn chipset fan!!!(which theyreplaced with another faulty one!! )

anyways this time around they are taking of giving me a replacement mobo ..

gotta go tomm to my dealer and make him talk to those assholes!!

Call Mr.Sujit 9820138720(he is the head of sales for India)....and tell him ur woes...cause if u mail asus india the email is replied by a person named Rajaram.
Sujit and Rajaram work in the same office for Asus India.
 
digicom now i remembered.......my 1st asus mobo was frm them.........i changed my mobo thrice...all new still some weird probo was repeating............then i told the dealer to tak me to the service centre...the boy threw me there and ran away...i directly enter there checking point..and the guy over there humbly told me to stand out........

as i was waiting out...where 100 of boxs of mobo....and other asus stuff was there...the main head enter and called the checking guy to come out...and started scolding to him why were we standing out......no he wasnt meaning that he shd have checked our probs......but he told him ppl come here and robs his product so we shd stand out of the centre.........

i was lik damn............u ba$tard............sabko khud jaisa samjta hain chor.........still since i was in prob i kept quiet.....after standing for ard 20mins out of the centre..... the checking guy called me...i told him the prob..he was lik ohh i hav never seen such prob........then on checking the serial number on his screen he showed me yes the mobo was replaced thrice........with other mobos....yup not new one all were used one and came to there service centre becoz of some display problem...which after clearnce was given to me........he told me to keep the mobo and call after 3-4 days and get new mobo as he was not having at that moment........

checking all this incident............i said ill come after 3-4 days with mobo and ill contact if he has some new mobo .....then i left and never returned.....i sold that mobo with problem at half price to my friend....

anyways called the digiasses..they told me to ask my dealer abt the name of the dealer of my mobo.. i told em that but they still keep insisting that i should ask the shopowner to call up and talk to em.. hmm it sounds fishy to me actually .. hmm

so will go on monday to my shopowner. . what the digiasses told me was that i have to ask him to give the dealer name and also ask him to tell him to give the mOBo for RMA..but then the digiasses guys keep telling me that they would first have to confirm with the banglore guys if the credit note has to be issued or no.. if it was to be issued then they would have alrerady done it right??

why the wait?? something is def fishy here!!
 
^^ call them everyday atleast 10 times....call up bangalore...take venkatesh's no(i cant seem to find it) harass them like crazy!!
Then will u get ur credit note....

now mom`s leavign for delhi so only me and dad.

but anyways will go to my dealer A and A tech and ask him to call em up..

they said mobo is in courier.. and should arrive by tomm..

what is interesting is that its comeing from banglore.. so what should i make of it? its the sameas mine i`m thinking.... but they keep insisting that its a replacement..

how do i chk if its a new mobo or no?

They are just plain lying rite now....go to the Digicom office and make a scene...

Threaten them with consumer court action...and if the need arises do it!!

Those a$$holes at Digicom need to be taught a lesson
 
ohh thats what my dad did on monday !!! he even slaped mr ajit but to no avaiL!!!!! man they are still stuck with the same dan excuse!!!

couldnt call them up today dam!N!!!!

now i wont be able to sleep cause i havent let out my frustration!!!

Well getting rough is not gonna help you buddy.Infact it will spoil things more.Try to stay calm.
Replacements and all procedure does take time,i know in your case,it took a bit too long but stay cool,you will either get a repaired board or a new one but you will get one for sure.
 
yeah..... You will certainly feel like wringing the neck of that guy but losing your cool will not help it. It will worsen the situation.

And it is simply not the decent way to behave.

I am not taking sides here, but maybe, JUST maybe, in this case it is not that Ajit's fault. You have simply made another enemy by slapping him in front of other people..... :no:
