PC Peripherals Signal range of Logitech Wireless EX90 Keyboard?

Hey, I am planning to buy one now.. so I wanted to know, how far is the range of signal allowed? I was planning to use it around 12-13ft from the CPU... will it work?

And should the USB receiver be facing exactly in your direction or does it not make a difference it it points sideways?

for 4-5 feet it doesnt required to face the keyboard but for 12-13 feet it needs to face in front. I have tried upto 10 feet and it works
