this movie must have been made to make a hit international.esp UK and Americas.you know ,many North Indians are there :) .many films which dont run successfully in India can run fine elsewhere :P
 
Yes, Namaste London was flop in India, but Super hit in UK.

All crappy hindi movies do well abroad, expatriates are suckers for any over the top, or melodramatic Indian shit. They think it will connect them to the Indian culture :) hehe our culture is anything but the crap shown in movies...
 
thank God my prediction regarding the movie came good.
u cud have guessed from the trailers itself.. nothing really to show cept for the HYPE and some stupid senseless scenes.

Depends ..... i saw the movie last night.... quite liked it... i know its got that idiotic humor and stupid action stunts ... but then again the direction, dialogue delivery etc were quite nice.....

as for Mr Masand, he is a total idiot.... He even gave 2 start to Jane tu ya jaane na.. and that is quite a decent movie.....

Just see, he would give Bachna e Haseeno 3 stars and 2 thumbsup no matter how much sucky the movie is.... If you notice his past reviews... all have been in favor of big producers....
 
Well guys its simple Time Pass movie, senseless time pass, a few pointers about sikhism sprinkled here and there, but other than that, your run of the mill masala bollywood movie.

Coming to the topic...havnt seen Singh is Kiing yet...but it surely is going to be the KING at Boxoffice seeing its opening:ohyeah:
In Mumbai alone,including Thursday night previews, the collections are estimated to be a whopping 1.13 crores, the highest ever collections...:)

Except Khosla Ka Ghosla, the Indian Film Industry hasn't come up with a single good comedy in 10 years.
Want to see Ugly and Pagli though, Ranveer Shorey rocks.

Man , Bheja fry was damn funny although it was a copy but still the combo of vinay pathak and ranvir shorey is awesome. Mithya is good too.
 
I wonder what dialogue would've been in the movie if Vadivelu was there..
"I'm swing in the rain..I'm Singh in the rain.."

ranvir shourey is there in this movie too

as for me, this movie was good, 1st half was funny, 2nd half was a bit boring....kind of like namastey london...
if u liked namastey london, u'll like this movie too....
it's just a comedy movie, time pass, 2 n a half hrs...
and just like most of the movies, it has a very much predictable ending
some scenes were really funny, like a serious scene is going on and suddenly a character starts crying remembering his past...
I liked it....and you have more fun if you watch a movie on the first day..w/o looking at the reviews which imo are crap
