I'm almost 60% completed on story missions and some of the side missions
Overall the game is quite enjoyable and recommended to play.
1. No brainer if you like Open World Game just pick it up.
2. Is inspired very heavily from GTA 4 from story to side missions(more towards side missions)
3. Story is usual undercover cop in the underworld trying to get people arrested blah blah..
4. Gameplay is very heavily inspired from Yakuza series most of the time you have to beat the guys instead of shooting , you get guns only after 25% in the story that too very momentarily.
5. The open world is very lively and gives authentic feel of Hongkong with tons of side missions.
6. Hand Combat is satisfying but gets repetitive after a while and gunplay isn't that great either
7. You can replay the missions after you complete them and yes you can play side missions even after completing the main story.
8. Side missions include driving someone to a place , races, cock fighting , getting new clothing.
9. There is even a sex element shown by way of Massage Parlour.
10. Driving in the car is like playing Burnout Paradise every other car runs like ferrari and whenever i drive a bike i feel like i'm in Torque and handling of car is not great especially the camera angles.
11. There are 4 different types of upgrades which you get over the gameplay
a. Triad Upgrades - Gives you different ability to fight with the guys and other stuff
b. Cop Upgrades - Allows you to tackle with guns and enemies with weapons
Above 2 upgrades are received while in the main missions.
c. Face Time - Unlocks new weapons , Clothing which affects you stamina meter and popularity within the people and intimadate enemies during the fight.
d. Fist(Don't remember the name of this) - You learn different KungFu methods after each time you get the trophy from main missions and there are around 12 trophies to be found.
12. Game is totally bugged (I would say not tested completely)
a. Talking of the main menu , the first option which gets highlighted by default is New Game now why would that should happen , simple logic.
b. At times the missions just dont trigger and mission waypoint just disappears or at one of the missions i had to pull this guy to a place then the cutscene triggered saying all they have to say and after the cut scene it said the companion had died then why did the cut scene triggered ?
c. In on of the missions where you have to take someone hostage and move along and when everyone was done there were no cars in there in which i had to take it back.
d. I even saw a html code tag in menu for one of the mission.

PC Graphic settings:
For those of you that don't know, there is a high resolution texture patch that is an optional download for this game.

It's free I think. Since it was going above the 1 DVD retail disc size, they decided to make it download only.
We didn't get any copies. The screenshot posted above is from one of the users at Steam forum.

I bought the game today from Games the shop located in EA
the retail copy is activated through steam so i bit the bullet and bought the game.
this is the first time i ever bought out of sheer impulse.
they even have dark siders 2 as well,apparenlty they are not allowed to sell it till 29th .
