Say, if I want to include my comps drivers and other applications pre-installed into an installable dvd ? Is something like this possible if yes any pointers on how ?

Isn't it possible with nLite? I know it has default addons for many apps. Not sure about 3rd party apps though

I have integrated AHCI drivers using nlite. I downloaded the driver (Intel matrix storage) from Intel and extracted it ... then nite did the magic!

AFAIK, not all drivers can be integrated, for eg creative audigy drivers cant be integrated cause those drivers are installed in 2 step processes.

As kumar pointed out, check out winaddons.com for a list of third party softwares which can be integrated to the installation cd.

I dis-recommend intergrating drivers into the setup, as one of the prime benefits of a Clean install is that u get a chance to install LATEST drivers for ur hardware. Though I'd integrate mass storage drivers & LAN/wireless drivers so that ur ready to download new sound & VGA drivers. Besides all that, integrating BTS DriverPacks increases the install time from 8-10 mins on brand new PCs, & can add up to even 25 mins on an old celeron.

Being long associated with this unattended scene I still conclude drivers Automation is good, but not always..

Yes I do all ALWAYS intergrate some basic set of apps that make u ready to use PC using the SVCPACK.ini method.... namely

Acrobat 8

JAVAVM

Winrar

Real player Alternative

UltraISO

WMP10
