Donno how the picture is , don't even wanna know. I don't see movie :) But this is certainly the best moment for any Indian :D Indian Cinema for the first time bags an OSCAR Award :D

The much awaited award has finally came to Indian shore :p Ar Rahman has got 2 OSCAR Awards till now .. Even Guljar has won One award :D) Jai HO !
Slumdog bagged 6 Oscars and more to come :D

Still cant understand what the hype is all about. AR Rahman has composed much better music than Jai Ho lol but no awards for that lol.
 
Don't understand all the hate messages for Rahman. Slumdog isn't his best, I agree. But he deserved the Oscar. If not for Slumdog, then for the rest of his work. I'm happy that the world has finally recognized his genius.

Neocolonialism FTW ! Rahman deserves all the awards and adulations but certainly not for this one. :) Funny thing is no one mentioned "Smile Pinki". I am happy that Heath Ledger won best supporting actor and Wall-e got the best animated film award. Kate Winslet was slammed for her performance in The Reader by a lot of critics and even though Sean Penn is a great actor, Mickey Rourke put his heart and soul out for The Wrestler, a more deserving actor this time imho.
 
The only sad part was.....An english depicted it so well ..we Indians missed that....And point here is it was never made for OSCARS.....it just happened..else it would had been any other documentary..

COngrats REhman and the mixing guy..they really made us proud
