Ordered for this :

eBay India: Desktop IDE / SATA Hard Disk Cooler FAN (item 160378406391 end time 20-Nov-2009 00:28:15 IST)

But this is what i got in Actual,.....total POS item,gross misrepresentation:





yeah, i knew/had doubts about the cheap item, but this was far below the mark!

as it's low priced thing,i will probbably ignore the issue, but misrepresentation in whatever form is NOT Right!!!....

..just sharing that buyers/memebers here be aware of such deals!
 
LOL the dealer has posted a pic of a Vantec Iceberq cooler. Quite obvious a Vantec cooler will not retail for that low a price. Perhaps you can shoot a mail to the customer service at eBay and tell them the situation and you may get a refund.
 
I think you should file the complaint and dont click that you've received the product...

anyway its different scenario if you dont have time (like me) doing these things..

I have reported the item though, providing reference to this topic.
 
partly ignorant & partly took the chances..that's why ordered just 1 piece!
Anyway, do i get compensation/refund..even without sending the thing back?
..even if that, shipping it back to the dealer might prove more costly than having the refund..in such case lene ke dene parjyenge!!!..i am NOT very accustomed with ebay returns & refunds.
i have already mailed him abt the fraud,..but have yet detested from giving negative feedback or reporting it to ebay.in!
most probably i will just paas over the issue, but still money gone to drain..
 
btw, the main focus is on the misinterpretation, did the thread mention of a "brand" name ? or a disclaimer says : what you see is not what you will get and the actual product will be different that the product u receive ?

ps. : that same thing with dual fans sells @ lamington road for 90 buks! and it sucks....
 
I got 3 times full refund (including shipping charges) from ebay for products received not as described; 2 times from ebay.com (USA) and once from ebay.in (shipped by our TE member thebanik) and there was no issues and refund was prompt from ebay after necessary investigation.

I can guarantee that you would get necessary refund if you take up the matter with them only thing is the item is of lessor value but seller should get lesson as I taught thebanik who cant think of repeating same in future
 
This is what is usually passed off as a HDD cooler on ebay.

Ah well, I suggest you open a dispute with Ebay on the basis of misguiding the buyer and nowhere does it say that the item shipped is not the same as item displayed.

Looks like some guy's out to make a quick buck on ebay irrespective of his rep.

Speak with the guy to refund else -ve feedback.
All these guys get it frm Dealextreme or other chiny sites and put phony pics to it. Read everything bfr u buy.
And Vantec Iceberq costs 6$
